Sowing Seeds cover

April 22nd 2003:

'The Passion' was written following a night spent on a mountainside in the Pyrenees. A place where silence is so loud it consumes your senses.

The Passion

Sowing seeds and waiting for a harvest, the field of life grows greener every day
Asking every question I can think of, I hope the answers make me wise one day

Living for the moment that's one option, eternity just seems so far away
And thinking of the future is never easy when the past is just one breath away

CHORUS
And the more I learn the less I know
And the more I search the less I've got to show
But the passion deep inside me slowly grows

Walking in these mountains I see beauty on a scale that makes me realise what I am
Insignificant, alone and tiny. Can it be that I'm part of the plan?

CHORUS
Cos the more I learn the less I know
And the more I search the further I must go
But the passion deep inside me slowly grows

I can still remember when I first heard silence, I could feel it pulsing in my vein
I began to speak but then I realised, the breath that snuffs the candle, fans the flame

CHORUS
And the more I learn the less I know
And the more it hurts the passion grows
Into something more that I can share with you
